Citrus Trees

Mile 5.2 has carried more than 20 varieties of dwarf citrus. The trees stay compact, the fruit is full size, and Meyer Lemon Trees can bloom or fruit year-round with the right light and care.
- Keep citrus slightly root-bound and on the dry side.
- Set trees outside gradually for summer, then bring them in before fall cold.
- Use bright light indoors; Alaska winters usually need a grow light.
- Blossoms generally become ripe fruit in about six to nine months.
